NW Umpqua Roofing & Waterproofing Inc. formally known as Umpqua Roofing Inc. was located in Beaverton Oregon, and was started in 2015. In 2022 after 7 years of success the Paradis family
purchased the Beaverton branch and relocated to Battle Ground Washington. We are now known as NW Umpqua Roofing & Waterproofing Inc.
NW Umpqua Roofing & Waterproofing Inc. provides a full range of roofing, waterproofing and a variety of services to meet our customers needs. Our goal is to be there when our customers need us and to
provide a top-notch customer service experience.
Meet The Team
Candy Paradis - President/Owner
Candance was raised in Klamath Falls OR. She joined the United States Air Force right after high school. Retired from Military service in 2003. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree following retirement. Candance has spent over 23 years working in Facilities, overseeing small project, multi-million-dollar capital projects and maintaining multiple buildings with a multitude of staff. She is married to her wonderful husband and has two boys, two step-sons and four awesome grandchildren. Loves playing soccer, working out, spending time with her family taking her 2 Rottweilers for walks.
John Paradis - Vice President / Director of Operations
John was raised in Vancouver WA and graduated from Evergreen High School in 1981. He began roofing in 1983 as an apprentice while attending college. John grew up helping his Dad build houses and became a General Contractor and built his own home. John has spent the last 40 years working to educate people on the trade of roofing. He has spent multiple years on the JATC, trust and committee to help build the profession of roofing. He has spent the last 40 years as a roofer, Foreman, Superintendent and now an owner. John enjoys spending time with his family, going boating and watching the Seahawks. John is married to his wonderful wife Candy together they have 4 boys and 4 active Grandchildren.
Eric Vanderhoof - Senior Estimator
Eric hails from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. After a BS in Chemistry, he sought work before continuing
education. Eric instead gained life education amid the construction world, learning estimation and
management of projects for clients like Intel, YMCA, Schools, Universities, Government, City Developers,
etc. Building from this experience, he became Senior Estimator helping the Paradis family establish their
new company. Eric enjoys spending time with his community, music, writing, reading, travel, outdoors,
snowboarding, companionship of his two dogs, and seeks to learn as much as he can along the way.
Dahvid Wery - Payroll, Project Manager and Logistics
DJ graduated in 2002 from Ft Vancouver. He went on to college. Decided he wanted to work with his hands became a journeyman Roofer and waterproofer. Spent time as a medical Assistant. DJ loves spending time with his family but especially his 3 beautiful children.
Carlye Wyatt - Service Department Administrator
Carlye was born and raised in Simi Valley California. She moved to Portland Oregon in 2002 where she built her career in sales as a
Sales Rep. for Shutters NW Inc. from Portland Or. to Seattle Wa. From there she built a successful Real Estate career.
She raised 5 children with her wonderful husband. Her and her husband love spending time with their 4 grandchildren and taking trips to the beach.
