NW Umpqua Roofing & Waterproofing Inc. formally known as Umpqua Roofing Inc. was located in Beaverton Oregon, and was started in 2015. In 2022 after 7 years of success the Paradis family purchased the Beaverton branch and relocated to Battle Ground Washington. We are now known as NW Umpqua Roofing & Waterproofing Inc.

NW Umpqua Roofing & Waterproofing Inc. provides a full range of roofing, waterproofing and a variety of services to meet our customers needs. Our goal is to be there when our customers need us and to provide a top-notch customer service experience.

Meet The Team

Candy Paradis - President/Owner

Candance was raised in Klamath Falls OR. She joined the United States Air Force right after high school. Retired from Military service in 2003. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree following retirement. Candance has spent over 23 years working in Facilities, overseeing small project, multi-million-dollar capital projects and maintaining multiple buildings with a multitude of staff. She is married to her wonderful husband and has two boys, two step-sons and four awesome grandchildren. Loves playing soccer, working out, spending time with her family taking her 2 Rottweilers for walks.

Alfredo Vacheron - Senior Superintendent

Alfredo has dedicated his entire career to the roofing industry, showcasing exceptional skill and leadership throughout his tenure. Currently serving as the Senior Superintendent at NW Umpqua Roofing, Alfredo brings an invaluable depth of knowledge and experience to our company. His expertise is particularly evident in his ability to manage and lead teams effectively, ensuring that projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Alfredo’s leadership has not only advanced our company’s objectives but also set a benchmark for excellence within the industry.

John Paradis - Senior Estimator

John was raised in Vancouver WA and graduated from Evergreen High School in 1981. He began roofing in 1983 as an apprentice while attending college. John grew up helping his Dad build houses and became a General Contractor and built his own home. John has spent the last 40 years working to educate people on the trade of roofing. He has spent multiple years on the JATC, trust and committee to help build the profession of roofing. He has spent the last 40 years as a roofer, Foreman, Superintendent and now an owner. John enjoys spending time with his family, going boating and watching the Seahawks. John is married to his wonderful wife Candy together they have 4 boys and 4 active Grandchildren.

Dahvid Wery - Payroll, Project Manager and Logistics

DJ, an alumnus of Ft Vancouver, graduated in 2002 and subsequently pursued higher education in college. During his academic journey, DJ realized his passion for hands-on work, leading him to a career as a journeyman roofer and waterproofer. His expertise not only covers technical roofing skills but also extends to specialized waterproofing projects, showcasing his versatile capabilities in the field.

Outside of his professional life, DJ is deeply devoted to his family. He cherishes the time spent with his loved ones, particularly his three beautiful children, who are the center of his world. DJ’s commitment to both his career and family highlights his well-rounded character and dedication.

Carlye Wyatt - Sales & Service Administrator

Carlye, a native of Simi Valley, California, relocated to Portland, Oregon in 2002, where she established a distinguished career in sales. Initially serving as a Sales Representative for Shutters NW Inc., she effectively expanded her territory from Portland to Seattle, Washington. Leveraging her skills and experience, Carlye transitioned into real estate, where she has since built a thriving career. Alongside her professional achievements, Carlye has successfully balanced her family life, raising five children with her devoted husband. The couple cherishes their time with their four grandchildren and enjoys regular trips to the beach, nurturing a close-knit family bond.

Devin Boit - Service Dept Manager

With three decades of extensive experience in the roofing industry, his career has spanned a variety of pivotal roles. Starting as an installer, he honed his skills on the ground before advancing to the role of Superintendent, where he managed teams and oversaw project execution. Subsequently, he took on the responsibilities of a Project Manager, planning and guiding projects to successful completions. Currently, he is serving as a Service Manager at NW Umpqua Roofing, where he leverages his comprehensive knowledge and experience to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

Clint Gerke - Administrator

Clint was raised in Vancouver, WA and is the proud father of 5 kids. He graduated from Evergreen High School in 2000 and attended the University of Washington where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Clint spent 11 years in the mortgage industry and brings technical skills, sales experience and a finance background to NW Umpqua where he has joined the estimating team. He is actively involved in his church in La Center, enjoys cooking with his wife Stepfanie and spending time with his wonderful family, and is a self-proclaimed Pinball Wizard.
